Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance Partners with Dine Around Seattle®
Walla Walla, WA (October 12, 2007) – The Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance is pleased to once again sponsor Dine Around Seattle (formerly 25 for $25) during November 2007 and March 2008 (www.dinearoundseattle.org). Throughout both months, a selection of Walla Walla wines will be paired with 30 participating restaurants’ culinary fare and available by the glass and by the bottle.
“Partnering with some of our favored Seattle restaurants is a great fit for us. We love being part of this event and hope that by participating, we are able to share a broad selection of our fine wines of the Walla Walla Valley with both old and new wine enthusiasts,” said Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance Executive Director Elizabeth Martin-Calder.
Over 88 wines from the Walla Walla Valley received a score of 90 or above from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate reporter Dr. Jay Miller and the appellation was recognized by Miller for its significance as booming wine region.
Dine Around Seattle® is Seattle’s successful, bi-annual, month-long dining promotion (March and November). Now in its sixth year, Dine Around Seattle® offers diners a chance to enjoy prix-fixe dinners for $30 and prix-fixe lunches for $15.00 at some of Seattle’s most delicious fine-dining establishments.
