TASTE Walla Walla® Dates Announced for 2008 TASTE Walla Walla®
Walla Walla, WA (October 24, 2007) – The Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance is proud to announce that it will be returning to Portland and Seattle in 2008 with the TASTE Walla Walla® event. This event offers trade and consumers the opportunity to sample wines from the Walla Walla Valley Appellation and talk with the winemakers.
The Portland Art Museum will be the venue for the Portland event with McCaw Hall being the venue for the Seattle event. Classic Wines Auction will again partner with the WWVWA for 2008 with TASTE Walla Walla® Portland being the opening event for the entire week of activities including winemaker dinners and the auction on March 1. The Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance will be partnering with FareStart in Seattle for the second year.

Last year’s TASTE Walla Walla® events included over 40 Walla Walla wineries, and each hosted around 300 trade and 400 consumer guests throughout the day.
The Classic Wines Auction, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to producing the Classic Wines Auction and related events which raise money for local charities benefiting children and families. FareStart provides a community that transforms lives by empowering homeless and disadvantaged men, women, and families to achieve self-sufficiency through life skills, job training and employment in the food service industry.
